Perform a two way ANOVA with replication.
You are the production manager of a company. Parachutes are woven in your factory using a synthetic fiber purchased from one of four different suppliers. The most important outcome for parachutes is strength of the fabric. You must decide whether the synthetic fibers from your four suppliers result in parachutes of equal strength (one main effect). There are two types of looms in the factory: the Jetta and the Turk. Are the parachutes woven on the Jetta looms and those woven on the Turks looms equally strong (second main effect)? Also, are any differences in the strength of the parachute that can be attributed to the four suppliers dependent on the type of loom used (interaction effect)? You perform an experiment to answer these questions and must eventually decide which supplier and type of loom to use in order to manufacture the strongest parachutes. The data is below:

Show the excel output needed and answer the following:
- Are there main effects?
- Is there an interaction effect?
- What are the managerial implications of these findings?
What is your conclusion regarding null hypothesis?
Make a scatter plot, illustrate the regression lines. Determine the correlation coefficient between husband’s and wife’s education for couples in which wife is employed full time?
Construct the following confidence intervals for your data set:
The 'interaction effect' was also important. By using the means in the table above write a statement explaining how the anti-anxiety drug appears to affect anxiety. Are the outcomes consistent with the hypothesis proposed by the researchers?
Give an ending for the below statement.Last week Tom had exams in Statistics and in English. He scored 10 points above the mean on both exams. From this information, you can conclude.
If we fit the least-squares line to the 12 data points (one for each month) we obtain the following results from a software package. Notice that temperature is taken as the explanatory variable and crawling age as the response.
Is there evidence of difference in mean life of bulbs produced by the two kinds of machines. What is your conclusion?
Determine margin of error for confidence interval in (a)?
At α = .05, is there a difference in variances? Illustrate all steps clearly, including the illustration of the decision rule.
How much net profit can John expect (on average) to earn from the store in total over the next five years?
The mean of a sample is 22.5. The mean of 1000 bootstrapped samples is 22.491. The bias of the bootstrap mean is
The estimated salary range is $4,500, the margin of error should be $100 and the desired level of confidence is 95%.
