He was brought into the ER by his mother, and x-rays of his right arm were obtained, revealing a supracondylar fracture requiring open reduction and internal fixation surgery. His arm was splinted and he was admitted at 1030 pm last night, and he will be having surgery at 2pm today.
It is now 8 am and you are the oncoming nurse taking report on this patient. His orders are as follows:

4- Neuro vascular checks q4h
