A disaster is any event that causes a level ofdestruction that exceeds the abilities of the affectedcommunity to respond without assistance. Disastersmay be caused by natural or man-made/technologicevents and may be classified as multiple-casualtyincidents or mass-casualty incidents. Student nursesare developing a plan on how to approach the upcomingcommunity-wide disasterdrill.
