Problem

What are the findings in this study is true or are there aother factors, "Fall prevention in hospitals and nursing homes: Clinical practice guideline", quantitative research, aimed on the development of a practice guideline for fall prevention in older adults, to those in hospitals and long-term care (LTC) institutions. This research reviewed controlled trials studies and previous research on fall prevention interventions, with multi factorial interventions, patient education, and body exercise interventions being strongly recommended. The group creating the guidelines to be use for fall prevention in institutionalize settings, utilized the GRADE method to assess the quality of evidence and they were the ones issuing recommendations and emphasized on the importance of evidence-based practice in nursing care. The P-values on this quantitative study, were the following: Fear of falling after exercise and education (p < .001), which due to education there was significant reduction of falls (p < .001)- therefore education was recommended.
