• Seizure disorders
• Cerebral palsy
• Spinal cord disorders
Part 1: Present Levels of Educational Performance
The present levels section of the IEP should be written in a manner that provides enough detail for someone who has never met the child to understand their disability and how it effects them in school. Compose a Present Levels of Educational Performance section of the IEP addressing the following:
1. Analyze the type of injury or disorder and the specific disabilities of the injury.
2. What are the salient complications as a result of the injury?
3. What are the financial effects and assistance needed in the educational system?
4. Discuss treatment options and rehabilitation.
Part 2: IEP Goals
Design and evaluate one appropriate individualized education goal for math and one appropriate individualized education goal for English language arts that are supported by research-based instructional strategies to meet the needs of the student.
Part 3: Reflection
Write a reflection of 250-500 words that includes specific issues surrounding the disorder, and the design and evaluation of appropriate individualized education goals.
Support your findings with a minimum of two scholarly resources. Submit your present levels of educational performance, IEP goals, and reflection as one deliverable.
