Two balls on a pool table collide. The balls have each a mass of 35grs and the collision can be considered elastic and in 1 dimension.

a) If ball 1 is moving at 3 m/s to the right while ball 2 is moving at 1 m/s to the left, what are the final velocities of both balls.

b) If ball 1 is moving at 4 m/s to the right while ball 2 is at rest, what is now the velocity of the balls after collision?
