Choose an international human rights issue. You may wish to choose one that was presented to you or to follow an area that is of interest to you. Write a brief introduction to the topic. Consider why this area of human rights study resonated with you.

Link your issue to a legal thinking concept: legal significance, legal perspective, change and continuity and interrelationships. For example, you wish to explore a particular treaty and the way in the which the law has impacted the situation (significance) or how it has altered over time (change and continuity). You may also wish to explore the connections between non-governmental organizations, domestic governments and the United Nations in the creation of the treaty or their respective positions on the issue (interrelationships and legal perspective).
