Scenario
You work for a large nuclear power plant. Your supervisor was given the task of writing a report key to obtaining a large government contract. Your supervisor assigned the report to you. The report is due tomorrow to the CEO.
According to company policy, all reports of this nature require the signature of your immediate supervisor. Your immediate supervisor, however, is out of the country and inaccessible for the next five days, so getting his signature is impossible. In a phone conversation two days earlier, he told you to sign the report for him if he did not make it back in time. You have just received a voice mail message from the CEO reminding you that he needs the report. A $3 billion government contract rides on this report.
