As a sales executive, what are the effects of these recommendations?

  1. The first recommendation is to design a whole new sales plan. The products will be high quality generic products. The distribution will be direct delivery to the customer. Communication will be at a single point of contact. The price will be low-medium to medium price range
  2. The second recommendation is to change the current compensation plan. The current market is very competitive so having higher pay, a reachable commission target, and more benefits for employees.
  3. The third recommendation is to differentiate from the competitors. There are 175 Thai manufactures and of that 5 account for 50% of the market. It is important to be able to stand out from all the other manufacturers.
  4. The fourth recommendation is to sell more focused products. Biomed sells over 100 different items like, analgesics, antibiotics, vitamins, allergy and respiratory drugs, electrolytes and supplements, gastrointestinal drugs, topical agents, and pediatric drugs. Sell more products aimed towards drug stores and general population, not bulk.
  5. The fifth and last recommendation is to lower prices. Because of the market that Biomed is currently in, it has to price its generic products in the medium-high to high range whereas other manufacturers price this much lower. Prices that can be lowered should be lowered and those products should be Biomed's new focus.
