Fragmented Data Flow and Outdated healthcare claims systems: Within the Beam Healthcare organization, the TPA Systems and Reporting department is divided into two teams: TPA Systems and Reporting.

The Reporting Team receives a plethora reporting requests from internal and external customers. The team utilizes a legacy claims and outdated reporting tools such as MS Access to complete ETL processes (extract, transform and load) of claims and enrollment data. Yet, the Reporting Team is seeking new technologies and processes to fulfill the organization's current and future reporting needs.

· No central data repository.

· Increased data redundancy and tasks re-work.

· Un-timely receipt of monthly reports.

· Limited amount of data can be extracted and stored in data tools - MS Access.

· External vendor assistance may be costly and stagnates the department from future growth.

· Limited team technical expertise.
