Name four (4) domains of psychology. These are also referred to as "schools of thought". For example, the Cognitive/ Behavior domain is a combined perspective that studies cognitive processes and also human and animal behavior. (name of 4 domains)

State the primary focus for each of the four domains - what are the critical concerns for research and clinical practice? For example, within the Cognitive/ Behavior school of thinking a researcher or a clinical psychologist will study thinking, motivation, perception, and behavior. Concerns center on why we do what we do, how thoughts shape our behavior, what we believe, what shapes our attitudes, and what motivates or demotivates us. (focus for 4 domains)

Define one important term within each domain. For example, within the Cognitive/ Behavior perspective you might define a term related to perception or related to understanding motivation, or related to memory. Define terms from the point of view of psychology, not from everyday usage. Do not use Webster's dictionary. Use a psychology dictionary or credible web source. Fully cite your sources. (four concepts)

Name three primary contributors to this domain. Consider at least one founder or early figure of importance and a more recent theorist or researcher or clinical psychologist who made an important contribution. You can locate all of these on the web. Early contributors are most likely published in books. More recent contributors will also be in peer review journal articles. The earlier in history the domain (perspective) the earlier the original founding figures will be found. For example, you'd name an early founder of cognitive psychology (such as Aaron Beck), not someone in recent journals. (four primary contributors - one per domain)

Attach an article that represents some aspect of each domain you selected to present. For example, your own article from the Cognitive/ Behavior school of thinking could be on research, theory or clinical application of ideas from this domain. (attach 4 full articles. No links accepted.)
