Case Study: Jane, a 63-year-old woman who is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 185 pounds, is scheduled for Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) surgery at a local health system. When discussing upcoming surgery with the cardiac surgeon, she is surprised to learn the length of stay after surgery. She is concern the length of stay is not long enough and is worried about recovery and complications post op.
