He tells you he does not understand why she left and shares that he has been crying often, although he speaks in a detached, matter-of-fact way to you. He says that he feels no sense of direction or purpose in his life, and while he maintains his job, he tells you it's just something to pay the bills. Aside from work, he has been spending his time alone in his apartment with the TV on, although he says nothing really interests him. He admits to using cannabis and alcohol daily since the break up.
