1.During these three stages: research design, data collection, and reporting of your research, there are ethical considerations you must be aware of. Describe 1 ethical consideration for each stage of research.
2.Choose and highlight one: Participant Observation, Interviews, Focus Groups, Experiment, Case Study.
-Define your chosen method: What is it?
-How might you go about using this method for data collection?
-What are the benefits of using this method?
-What are the drawbacks?
-What are the ethical concerns when using this method?
2.Define "probability" and "non-probability" sampling. Give an example of a scenario where each would be appropriate to use. What is one sampling technique you might use for each of these scenarios?
3.Identify if the problem with the following studies is related to its reliability or its validity. Justify your answer.
a.In order to get a sense of how harmonious most long-term marriages are, a researcher administers a questionnaire to couples who have been married for at least 20 years. The questionnaire consists of 60 statements to which both spouses must individually respond. The questions are randomized into two different questionnaires, with half the couples answering one and half the other, though spouses answer the same questionnaire. The researcher discovers that for one of the questionnaires, the respondents more frequently agree with the first 30 statements than with the last 30. So if one were to look at the first 30 responses of one of the questionnaires, one would conclude that most long-term marriages are fairly harmonious, but if one were to look at the last 30 responses of that questionnaire, one would think marriages are not very harmonious. The second questionnaire produced more varied results.
a.A researcher constructs a questionnaire to assess the extent to which adults display open-minded attitudes toward particular religious groups. However, several experts in the researcher's field of study suggest the questionnaire assesses not how open-minded people actually are regarding religious groups, but what people would like to believe or convey about their own open mindedness.
4.Identify what is wrong with these survey questions. State the type of question you would ask instead, and rewrite the question as your stated type (choose from Open, List, Category, Ranking, Rating, Quantity or Matrix).

The administration wishes to know if they adequately prepared students to complete their coursework online.
