Case: A 45-year old patient who has been undergoing fertility treatments for 7 years and with a history of miscarriages, is pregnant and presents to your ED with vaginal bleeding.

Her primary care practitioner's clinic is closed on weekends so she was instructed to go to the nearest hospital ED for evaluation. It was previously confirmed that she is currently pregnant with twins. She presents in the ED with moderate light-headedness and overall weakness.

Her chart includes the following additional information:

G5 P0 (Gravida 5; Para 0)
26 weeks gestation
Vaginal bleeding ~3 days
Hemoglobin = 100g/L (anemic)
Ferritin = 25 ug/L
