2. Review the misconceptions about sexuality that are in this chapter. Discuss several of the misconceptions about sex and sexuality that you find interesting. Are there any misconceptions that you had about sex that you have had to challenge?
3. Discuss the father/daughter relationship as the foundation for a woman's relationship with other men in her life. Does she seek men to give her what her father never gave her? Is a woman's capacity to receive from a man and her ability to give to a man directly related to her relationship with her father?
4. Evaluate the impact of the mother/son relationship as a determinant of how a man relates to other women. Does a man look to women to give him what his mother did not? Is he looking for a mother? Is a man's capacity to receive from a woman and his ability to give to a woman directly related to his relationship with his mother?
5. What are some of the hazards to having unprotected sex? With the increase in technology and the ability to have any information immediately, why do you think so many people continue to risk unprotected sex?
6. Discuss the controversy over sexual addiction. Do you believe a person can be addicted to sex?
