What are some most ideal ways for nurses to become more aware of a patient's cultural needs? How do we ensure that their cultural needs are met? It is an integral element to the patient's care that we deliver an all inclusive care that is specific to patient needs and wants. Nurses are ideal for creating an environment and care plan that reflects the patient's needs and desires specific to their cultural needs. Further, it is essential that we ensure our own belief systems are not a reflection of what is included with patients, but only their person-directed options.
