Going further, FBI statistics show that white people constituted nearly 70% of the people arrested for serious crimes. A study also showed that whites have a higher rate of illegal drug use. So why is it that African Americans and other minorities are often subjected to discriminatory and falsified investigations when they don't constitute the majority of serious crimes?
