Question: We know that compensation and benefits are critical to attracting and retaining the best talent. But human critters are expensive! We want to be competitive in our quest for the best, but we can only afford so much, right. What are some benefits that will have value to you but will cost the employer little or nothing? For example, employers can work with a gym close to work. The employer distributes gym advertising to employees in return for employees getting a discount membership. The employee gets something of value, the employer spends nothing AND the employer sees a reduction in health care costs.
