Monica works as an office administrator for a large organisation. Her daily tasks include modifying documents in a variety of software applications. One day she had to modify three documents in three different applications.

Monica opened all three files before starting work on them. While working on one document she went on a coffee break but left all three applications open. When Monica returned she found that her computer was slower than usual and then it had started to make unusual noises. She typed on a few keys and then on the computer. Monica's monitor then went blank.
