For this assignment, we'll explore how your experience was both similar to and different from your parents and grandparents' experiences.

  • Write 3 paragraphs describing how your adolescence was (likely) similar to and different from the adolescence of your parents and grandparents. It's okay if you can't speak to specifics with YOUR parents & grandparents. I'm mostly looking for generalizations anyway.
  • Demonstrate that you've read the textbook by using specific references and examples from the book (ex: health & well-being, gender, family, school, peers, diversity, technology, cultural norms, etc). You'll get 3 points per question; here are the questions you need to address:
