The movement towards 'Sustainable Agriculture' is growing because the current fossil fuel-based system of food production, processing, and distribution eventually will collapse. Simultaneously, the massive amounts of food waste in Western cultures is becoming more evident, with organizations and movements working to help prevent food waste.
