Discussion: A digital asset is anything that is stored digitally and is uniquely identifiable that organizations can use to realize value. (Gartner Inc, 2023) Examples include, documents, audio, text, graphics, video, and many others.
For students, these assets could include, but are not limited to photo/video files, web portfolios, websites, and documents. Good examples for a university would be a website, videos, photos, and graphics. Digital assets provide a visual representation of your products or services, and they enable you to connect with and engage your target audience through a vast array of channels and mediums. (Burgee, What are Digital assets? 2020) In other words, a university's website is a medium for students and parents to connect with the university.
"If he has sinned and has realized his guilt and will restore what he took by robbery or what he got by oppression or the deposit that was committed to him or the lost thing that he found or anything about which he has sworn falsely, he shall restore it in full and shall add a fifth to it, and give it to him to whom it belongs on the day he realizes his guilt." (Leviticus 6: ESV Bible: YouVersion) In other words, this scripture states that after man realizes he's done wrong, he must then restore what he has taken and add a fifth to what he took on the day that he realizes his guilt.
Another verse, Exodus 22:7 states "If a man gives to his neighbor money or goods to keep safe, and it is stolen from the man's house, then, if the thief is found, he shall pay double." (Exodus 22: ESV bible: YouVersion) Both of these scriptures relate to how the thief must atone for stealing from their neighbor. References Burgee, R. (2020, February 21).
