Question - Bill Stanners is 94 and lives in his own home with his wife Shirley, 74.

Bill has Picks disease (dementia) that has increased in severity over the last 4 years and Bill is becoming increasingly frail.

Despite repeated attempts by their family to place them both in care, they have refused to leave their home.

Bill and Shirley receive an aged care package administered by CHSP.  This package comprises personal care support 3 times per week, community transport and respite for Bill once per week.

They also have access to garden and maintenance services available through their local council.

One morning the care worker arrives at Bill and Shirley's home to find Bill having had a fall.  Their daughter Virginia is with them and they are waiting for the ambulance.  Shirley and Virginia are arguing about what Virginia believes is the need for residential care.
