Most Difficult Step for Novice Researcher: Formulating research questions or hypotheses for new researchers can be achallenging task (Ratan et al., 2019). It requiring deep knowledge about a topic as well as being capable of creating questions which are focused, clear and researchable.

Research Topic for Health Informatics: My chosen topic for analysis is, "The Impact of Electronic Health Records (EHRs) on Patient Care in Rural Healthcare Settings." EHR adoption has revolutionized healthcare delivery. However, rural areas face unique difficulties when adopting and using them, and thus warranting further exploration in this topic area (Lowe & Barriers, 2020).

Problem Statement:

A critical issue plaguing rural healthcare facilities is their relative lack of adoption of EHR systems compared to their urban counterparts, leading to disparate patient care and outcomes and hampering care quality and outcomes. Understanding their effect in this setting is imperative to providing better patient outcomes and healthcare service delivery.

Research Questions/Hypotheses:

Research Question I: "To what extent are EHRs improving patient care and clinical outcomes in rural healthcare settings?
