What are Amazon's choice of countries in which it wants to compete and the role of those countries in the Global Portfolio?

Context:

We are looking at Company's positioning Strategy (in which countries it is already present). The role of the countries can be categorized as

• Key countries - critical for companies' long-term competitiveness given their size,
  growth or the quality of their human, natural or locational resources
  Emerging countries - countries that exhibit a high growth rate, strategically attractive in
  the near future (f.i. Brazil, India)
  Platform countries - with locational advantage, good logistical, financial, regulatory and
  legal infrastructure or qualified personnel, serve as a 'hub' for setting up regional
  centers, that is, global factories that are 'platforms' for further development
  Marketing countries - (no need to invest, only sales) where the market is attractive
  without being as strategically critical as the key countries
  Sourcing countries - countries with a strong resource base but limited market
  prospects (Manufacturing base /Source of raw materials/ Purchasing Office)
