Question - The accounts were taken from Mario Company's unadjusted trial balance on December 31, 2020

Debit Credit

Accounts receivable 5,000,000

Allowance for uncollectible Accounts 50,000

Net credit sales 20,000,000

On December 31, 2020 Mario estimates that 3% of the net credit sales will become uncollectible.

On December 31, 2021 decided to change from net credit sales method to the accounts receivable method. Mario estimated that 20% of the accounts receivable balance is considered doubtful. Net credit sales and accounts receivable at December 31, 2019 are 25,000,000 and 6,000,000 respectively.
