Preceding problem: The Timberlake Corporation has an opportunity to sell its manufacturing facility to Carroll Corporation for $4,500,000. The property has a basis of $2,000,000, and the prospective purchaser is willing to wait up to six months for occupancy to allow Timberlake time to locate and purchase new facilities.
