Bridgett a coder at Miami Dade College Hospital was asked by the Coding Manager to make a presentation to the coding team in June. It is now March and Bridgett understands that it is the senior coders job description to make two presentations per year. An AHIMA member shared a PowerPoint (PPT) presentation on coding for radiation oncology on a specific community on Engage. Another member copied this PPT, modifying it only with the addition of two pictures. Bridgett copied he presentation and added her name as creator and presented in June at Zoom Coder's Meeting. Is there an ethical violation, dilemma, or concern?

In this scenario, there is an ethical concern. The second AHIMA member is placing her self-interest above other members by misrepresenting the work as her own.
