2. Ellen is a hiring manager at ABC Company. She gets about 100 applicants for every job posted at the company. She has to hire the best candidates for the position. She is pretty sure that Arthur would be a slightly better fit than Jewel for the marketing position she is filling. When she shared with her assistant that Arthur was her choice, her assistant immediately said that that would be a huge mistake. Her assistant had found some questionable things on social media - Arthur tweeting that he was skipping out of work again because his dumb boss never notices, Arthur posting a picture with the caption "Sick Day" where he was at the ballgame with his buddies, and there were more like it. In addition, he tweeted about having the hiring manager at ABC Company totally ready to hire him. Ellen considered his letters of recommendation, his multiple interviews, his resume...and those were really strong, but now this information from her assistant is stuck in her head.
