You are financial analyst working for Broadcom (ticker symbol AVGO), which is a huge chip manufacturer. It is considering the acquisition of a competing chip firm, Qualcomm (ticker symbol QCOM). The CFO of Broadcom has tasked you with evaluating the potential deal.
