If ideas act like viruses, using our brains as hosts for their reproduction and propagation, is there any way of inoculating our minds against them, or fighting them once they have taken hold of our brains? Or are we at the mercy of the ideas that our brains are vulnerable to? What about the idea that ideas are viruses itself? Is this a beneficial virus, or one that could hurt us?
