A 6-month-old Dalmatian, Bailey, was brought to the hospital for lethargy. Bailey has been resistant to going on walks and pants after short periods of activity. Bailey has tachycardia and delayed CRT. MM are cyanotic and a Grade IV murmur can be heard on thoracic auscultation. Bloodwork was unremarkable. Thoracic radiographs showed slight cardiomegaly. EKG and ECHO were done. The veterinarian diagnosed PDA. Corrective surgery was performed and 2 weeks post-op, Bailey's owner is happy to report she is back to normal
