James Madison is one of the more interesting of the characters in the story of the early republic. It seems fairly obvious that he changed sides from being a strict Federalist to being a founder of the Democratic-Republican. Madison as an example of the giant compromise about what a democratic republic meant for the United States.

Can help me with short essay reflect on what might have been some of the reasons why Madison changed from Federalist to Republican.
