Proposal for Masters Project

Project - Weight capacity of Laminated Polystyrene used in campervans

Project Description

The campervans manufacturers in Australia heavily rely upon laminated polystyrenes for light body structures. In this project, the student will evaluate the weight capacity at atleast 3 different locations on the provided sample. A brief literature survey to compare the evaluated properties with published values will also need to be performed.

Project Outcomes

1. Literature review

2. Mechanical characterisation - Weight capacity
