We have ammeter and we measure the current of a bulb. When the ammeter is set on 300ma and the bulb is not as bright. But when the ammeter is set to 3A the bulb is brighter then before and the meter is showing more current. Why is that? I understand that high current means brighter bulb, but what is to do with the ammeter setting. Note: the ammeter is made by using galvanometer and shunt.
