Project plan summary
Project objectives:
The objective of this project is to produce and deliver a presentation of the finding and recommendations following a Post Implementation Review (PIR) of the Teradyne Corporations "Jaguar Project".
The intention is to deliver a clear and logical presentation addressing the issues found in the PIR. Recommendations will be insightful and fully supported to explain where improvements could be made to the Teradyne project.
Project scope and deliverables:
The project scope is a Post Implementation Review of the Teradyne Jaguar Project. Reviewing the decisions made during the project against the outcomes and making recommendations for improvements. Within scope is analysis of the Teradyne Jaguar Project, identification of the root causes of issues encountered in the project and recommendations for improvements.
Project approach and structure:
The approach to this project will be to review the Jaguar project and identify the issues encountered by Teradyne. Issues will be broken down to the underlying cause using appropriate analysis techniques such as root cause analysis, fish bone analysis or problem tree analysis. The analysis tool is yet to be decided however the intention will be to use a single appropriate method of analysis and link any recommendations directly to the analysis. Once the underlying cause has been identified recommendations can formed and reported.
There will be a three-person project team. A team leader will be appointed to keep the project on track however with only a small team each resource will have to participate in the analysis, reporting and presentation.
Based on the above given information:
