By now you know your way around B&W plots. Suppose the data you are examining has a Normal Distribution as follows: IQ ~ N(100, 16).
Using your Z score and B&W knowledge complete the following:
a) x (.25) ___ - the lower quartile or 25th %tile
b) x (.50) ___ - the median or 50th %tile
c) x (.75) ___ - the upper quartile or 75th %tile
For a) to c) give answer to 1 decimal place but for d) and e) to an integer value.
d) The highest IQ score that lies just below the inner fence on the low side of the 25th %tile.
e) The lowest IQ score that lies just above the outer fence on the high side of the 75th %tile.
f) Give a name to the two IQ scores you determined in d) and e).
