Water flows out of a large reservoir through pipe A at a rate of 15 kg/s (density of water = 1000 kg/m^3, viscosity of water = 1x 10^ -3 Pa.s). The free surface of water in the reservoir is 150 m above the centerline of pipe A. Pipe A is connected to a turbine which in turn is connected to another discharge pipe B. Both pipe A and Pipe B are cast iron pipes with roughness of 0.22 mm. The lenghts and diameters of the pipes are as follows:

DA= 8 cm , LA= 15 m, DB= 6 cm, LB= 25m.

The pipe inlet at A is a sharp inlet with K= 0.5. There is a 1/2 closed gate valve in pipe B (K= 2.1).
