Every community is different, from very urban to very rural settings. In Chapter 9, we spoke about water distribution systems and the many different ones that exist. Research your own community, and describe the setting and the water distribution system that exists there. Be specific, and include different systems that were discussed in this unit and how they affect your ability to provide fire protection to your citizens. If you are not currently part of the fire service, talk to your local fire department, and have them explain the system in your community.
