Assignment:
The Situation:
Stenn Jedele is having another bad day. It all started when he traveled from Michigan to Ohio to watch a Cleveland Guardians baseball game. He brought lots delicious Michigan apples as snacks to eat on the road. When he arrived at the stadium, Stenn was surprised to see that his ticket cost twice as much as what other people were paying. Upset, he asked a salesperson why his ticket was so expensive. The employee responded, "You are from Michigan and Michigan residents have to pay more than everyone else. Sorry, that's just the way we do things here." Stenn was so angry that he turned around and left the stadium as fast as he could.
While speeding away, Stenn was pulled over by the Ohio State Police. When they asked for his license, the police officer said, "This is a Michigan drivers license. It's no good here in Ohio. You're not allowed to drive here." But before the officer could say more, a federal agent from the FBI came up and said, "Sir, you've transported Michigan agricultural products across state lines without paying the interstate sales tax. You're in trouble with the FBI and you need to come with us." Stenn started to argue that the FBI couldn't stop him from taking Michigan apples to Ohio, but the state police officer and the FBI agent started arguing over who should get to arrest Stenn.
While they were distracted, Stenn grabbed his license from the cop, jumped back into his car, and raced off down the highway. Just after he crossed the state line back into Michigan, the Ohio police officer caught up to him and told Stenn he was going to have to face trial for evading arrest. Stenn said, "Nope! Now that I'm back in Michigan, you can't make me go back to Ohio!"
