Coverage Error in the 2020 Census

In this module (chapter 2), you've learned that national censuses sometimes miss people and sometimes count people more than once. The difference between the two is called net coverage error. You've also learned (Focus on the 2020 Census) that the U.S. Census Bureau faced many challenges in its efforts to conduct the 2020 Census, raising fears of a significant undercount. In this assignment, you'll learn about coverage error in the 2020 U.S. Census.

Step 2. Scroll down the page to the section called "America Counts: Stories Behind the Numbers" and click on "View all Stories"

Step 3. Search the America Counts page to find the article titled "Who Was Undercounted, Overcounted in the 2020 Census," posted on March 10, 2022. (Do not confuse with an article posted in May 2022, titled "Census Bureau Today Releases 2020 Undercount, Overcount Rates by State.)
