The purpose of this project is to introduce you to the type of exercises that an assessment center participant would experience and the evaluation/scoring process an assessor would experience. Review the materials in the E.ON Sales Advisor Role Play:
Administration Instructions – how Assessors should run the exercise
Role Player brief – how to Assessors should interact with the participant
Instructions for Participant – what the participant is told
Scoring Guide – how the Assessors should evaluate the participant
Write a 1-2 page summary of the exercise, including:
Was the exercise a realistic depiction of what a sales advisor does on the job?
Your impression of the instructions to the participant/role player.
How accurately could you assess someone’s competence given the scoring guide?
