Major corporations with foreign subcontractors (such as Ikea, Bangladesh, Unilever in India, and Nike in China) have been criticized, often with substantial negative publicity, when children have been found from Ten years old  working at the subcontractor's facility.  Normal answer to this question is to perform an audit and then improve the controls so that this does not happen again. It's one of those cases, a ten-year-old boy was fired.  Soon after, without the child's contribution the family lost their modest home and, the infant had to devote himself to looking for scrap metal in the local dumpster.
