William Moore owned Moore Enterprises, a wholesale tire business. Wiliam's son, Jonathan, worked as a Moore Enterprises employee while he was in high school. Later, Jonathan started his own business, called Morecedes Tire. Morcedes re-grooved tires and sold them to businesses, including Moore Enterprises. A decade after Jonathan started Moore Enterprises, William offered him work with Moore Enterprises.
