Question: The Plantation Shutter Co. contracted with Ricky Ezell to sell and install interior shutters in Ezell's home for $6,000. They signed a written document titled "Terms of Sale." After the shutters were installed, Ezell was dissatisfied with 12 of the 37 panels. Plantation remade and installed the panels, but Ezell still had complaints and did not like the exposed hinges. Plantation agreed to provide side strips to hide the hinges and reduced the price of the shutters. Plantation made the strips and tried to schedule installation but Ezell would not permit completion of the work. Plantation sued for the balance due on the contract alleging it was a sale of goods.
