Vigoda-Gadot and Meisler (2010) argues that in our modern states and communities, the public sector becomes a place where the feelings and emotions of the various stakeholders play a major role in decision making, policy formulation and the daily activities of public servants. In other words, another piece to the puzzle of governance and public management is that of emotions and feelings. The public sector sphere becomes a place that must learn the at of managing emotions because of the intensification of the clash between politics and administration. Thus the article argues that non rational, emotional factors are highly influential in the process of public activity and in producing outcomes and performance in public agencies.
