An insulated vessel is divided into two compartments connected by a valve. Initially, one compartment contains steam at 10 bar and 500ºC and the other is evacuated. The vale is opened and the steam is allowed to fill the entire volume, achieving a final pressure of 1 bar. Determine the final temperature, in ºC, the percentage of the vessel volume initially occupied by steam and the amount of entropy produced in kJ/kg K.
