In today’s modern world, having a vehicle of transportation often becomes a necessity. When you have an appointment and can’t make it on time and end up having to cancel or reschedule, sometimes you end up getting hit with a cancelation fee and additional fees also. Imagine if your health was being affected by this decision to reschedule to a later date. Sometimes, just having to wait a few days or a couple of weeks will worsen the condition of a patient. The problem is, that there are people out there who often depend on someone else or must take a bus or uber to get to the hospital for an appointment. Nationally, missed appointments cost health care providers $150 billion a year, with no-show rates as high as 30%, according to SCI Solutions, which provide IT services to health care society. If we can develop a system provider that will be based on the needs of getting students to the hospital on time, we can help cut down on the cost of missed appointments.
