Accountants have assembled the following data:

Arrival Rate (assume Poisson distribution) per hour on average = 4 customers

Average Service Rate (assume exponential distribution) per channel per hour = 7 customers

Wait-time cost per hour = $41.50

Teller Wages & Benefits per hour = $37.00

Number of hours in operation per day = 8

1) What is the total daily cost (of the system) if one teller manned the drive-in window at this location?

  • $1412.00
  • $1136.00
  • $738.67

2) Using the data from Question 22. What is the total daily cost (of the system) if two tellers manned the drive-in window at this location?

  • $920.00
  • $855.13
  • $798.58
  • $986.67

3) Using the data from Question 22. What is the total daily cost (of the system) if three tellers manned the drive-in window at this location?

  • $1206.88
  • $1073.65
  • $1193.20
  • $1079.41

4) Using the data from Question 22. If three tellers manned the drive-in window what is the utilization rate of its tellers?

  • 0.190
  • 0.250
  • 0.267
  • 0.222

Please answer all the 4 questions related to Question 22. (multiple choices are given so you can please choose one when you work out)
